I've sourced out a community event for almost every day of the month!




Check out my written calendar below for activities to do with Family, Nightlife, Health, Garden, & Youth! 

All of these events are local to the Spruce Grove & Stony Plain area. Be sure to click the link in the descriptions for more info, as some of these events require payment or registration. 

Can't make the specific date? Many of the community funded events listed repeat weekly all spring long. 

Family Fun

3rd- Young Moms Group
For moms 25 & under, whether you have a baby or are expecting a baby this is a great outlet to connect with other moms in the community. This program offers educational sessions and many opportunities to socialize. Click here for more info!

6th- Family Yoga 
Another great bonding program from the SGPL. Bring your own mat/towel and water bottle, head over at 10:15 am with the whole family! This is a great outlet to get active or try something new with your family at no cost! Click here for more info. (note; this page is dated for Jan 05/19 but the class is also on April 6th)

12th - Tick Tock Time
Head over to the Public Library for a free weekly program. This program initiates the parent-child bond that will serve them in learning and growing. This program is for children ages 0-4. Click here for more info!

12th- Olivia Rose Live at the Shotz Lounge
$15 a ticket, have some family fun enjoying live music. Click here for details and ticket information.

12th- Wralph Breaks The Internet Friday Fun Night @ Crock-A-Doodle
Drop your kids 5+ off & enjoy some free time while they get creative! $28 per child, includes movies, snacks, painting, and supervision. Preregistration with payment is required. Click here for more information/registration!

13th- Spring Festival for the arts
2nd Annual spring festival held at our Spruce Grove Public Library! Stop in to enjoy local talent, poetry, and an art show. Click here for the itinerary! 

18th - Crafternoon
The parent link centre in hosting an afternoon for your little's ages 3-5. Stop by between 10am-12pm and let them play, make, and discover! Click here for more details.

23rd- Back to Nature with your Kids
Teach your children to connect with nature and get outside! This event is free however registration is required. Click here for registration/more details.

Health & Wellness

4th- Postpartum Depression Support (childcare available)
This is an awesome outlet for any mothers struggling with PP. This program is hosted weekly 10am-12pm through till June 27th. Click here for more information.

25th- 10 Habits of Successful Relationships
Ages 18+, this is a free program designed to help you learn key relationship skills to build a healthy, long-lasting relationship with your partner. Click here to learn more & register before spots run out!

NightLife

9th- Emerging Artists Showcase @ Horizon Stage
This is a first of its kind night for Horizon Stage. Enjoy performances from new up and coming artists to help support their journey and discover new music. Click here for more info!

9th- Beer Hunter Paint Night

Home & Garden

5th & 6th - Parkland Home & Garden Expo
Join in at the Tri Leisure from 5pm-9pm on Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday! Click here for a list of confirmed Vendors & more info!

6th- Adoption Event
PetValu Spruce Grove is hosting an Adoption Event. From 1pm-3pm in need rescues will be at this location in hopes of finding a home. Click here for more info!

14th- Golden Greenhouse Tours
Held on April 14th @ 1pm head on over to Golden Greenhouses to learn and explore plants and flowers for your home garden. Click here for more info!

Youth & Young Adults

3rd - Youth Writing Night
Join other youth from ages 8-12 in an exploration class for writing and poetry. This is a FREE class that repeats weekly. Click here for more info!

9th- Teen Tuesday
Head on over to the SGPL for a teens night dedicated to whatever you & your peers are interested in! Network and socialize with old friends (or make new friends). Click here for further details.

28th- Babysitter Training Course
FCSS Babysitters Training Course is open for registration! $60 per person, you must be 11-15 years of age to enroll. Note: Bring a water bottle, doll, diaper, pencil, and a bagged peanut free lunch. Handbook and wallet card are included in the cost. Click here for more info and other dates!
